Nearly a month after the September 11th terrorist attacks - Mr. Ramneek Singh is working away at his gas station near YUBA CITY, CALIFORNIA. While leaving his shop one night, he is brutally beaten as a form of retaliation for the terrorist attacks. Or so it seems.
The American Dream has been rewarding to the turban-wearing immigrant until now. The only thing Mr. Singh doesn't realize, is that hate has bred in SUTTER COUNTY long before him.
He has only began to unravel a bigger problem...
