Ronin of the Dead: Book One
On April 14th, the first living person was bitten by the undead. Nobody knew where they came from. Before the scientists of the world could figure out what they were dealing with, the first countries had already begun to fall. Tens of millions of people died during the first week.
A couple years later, after the dust had settled. The war between humanity and the undead was over. The undead had won. All that remained were for the last few flames to be snuffed out. Kenshiro Watanabe didn’t plan on making it easy on the undead, though.
He had survived the initial slaughter. He survived the evacuation of Los Angeles. He survived the cruel tutelage of this new, undead world.
He has survived.
Alone.
After everything that was important had been taken from him, Kenshiro persists. In La Veta, a small town that is ripe for supplies, he finds the one thing that still frightens him more than the undead.
